s. Dorothy Explained: Functional Integration® Session Analysis (2014)

A five-hour presentation and discussion of a Functional Integration session filmed with Jeff Haller and Dorothy, a professional ballet dancer. Dorothy had not regained her full stability, support, and leg lift following surgery for a Lisfranc dislocation and fracture of her navicular she suffered in rehearsal prior to a performance.

Jeff breaks down and elucidates the inner details of the lesson, with a thorough discussion of what went into its creation. Every effort was made to remove any mystery from how the lesson developed. Each point made are skills that can be acquired by any practitioner.

This presentation serves as an example of “Competence in Action,“ part of the Feldenkrais® Practitioner Profile that ensures practitioners can describe their process while working in Functional Integration in order to communicate with clients, practitioners, health care providers and others to help them understand what took place.

Note: This presentation is included in the full 10-video “Crafting Functional Integration® Lessons with Confidence“ Advanced Training recordings.
