Practitioner ATM Mentoring Teach-In [WEDNESDAYS]

Join us for a special opportunity to work with your peers to enhance your skills as an Awareness Through Movement® teacher. This small mentoring group is focused on competency-based, peer-to-peer "teach-ins" and professional dialogue.

Each week, a participant, chosen by lottery, will teach an ATM to the group. All participants will learn how to engage in professional dialogue to support the learning of the ATM teacher. We will learn about and practice the art of asking “open-ended" questions to help the teacher reflect on their teaching experience and explain their teaching from within their own experience. This process will support all participants to develop their own “learning plans” by assessing the areas they wish to develop in their teaching and creating a plan for fulfilling the outcomes they desire.

Prerequisites:

• Must be enrolled in the September-December Advanced Training, Taking ATM Teaching into the Future #2; AND
• Must have attended the June-August 2020 Advanced Training, Taking ATM Teaching into the Future OR must purchase the Taking ATM Teaching into the Future recordings and view the first four classes.

Details:

• Wednesdays 8-10am PDT. (Click here for the Tuesday group.)
• Eight-week session: September 30-December 2; no classes October 28 & November 4. (Winter session, January/February TBA)
• 16 people maximum; registration is first-come, first-served.

Fees:

• $400 includes participation and downloadable recordings.
