Q&A: All About IOPS

Learn all about the IOPS Academy, an intensive graduate-level program for Feldenkrais Practitioners® starting June 2024 in Seattle.

IOPS = Ideal Organization + Profound Strength

This Q&A session will clarify how IOPS, in contrast with other Advanced Trainings, will support you thriving as a professional Feldenkrais Practitioner.

IOPS is designed to help you refine your skill levels in ways that will ultimately support yourself, your practice, your clientele, and your financial ability (i.e. make money).

IOPS is a coherent, extended, advanced training process to support your ability to practice:

  • Developing your ability to see function, think functionally, and teach function.
  • Greatly increasing your understanding of biomechanical principles that are foundational to skillful and efficient movement.
  • Developing a coherent ability to produce Functional Integration® lessons and series of lessons that clients know how to take with them, integrate into their life, and support their lifespan development.
  • Developing your skills with dialogue that help students become self-referential and their own source of learning.
  • Learning some of the science that supports the Feldenkrais Method®.

This course requires a significant investment in yourself financially and educationally, and has rigorous requirements for participation and graduation.

The nature of this Q&A session is to give you the background and the backbone of IOPS; Andrew Gibbons and Jeff Haller will provide context, information and answer your questions.

Come and see if IOPS is a fit for you.
