We delve into the practice of Awareness Through Movement®, seeking to elicit a direct experience of what is essential to the Feldenkrais Method—and what is essential for human beings living in complex and uncertain times—to find ease, composure, and fulfillment.
One could ask the question: How do I find the internal resources and simplicity to live with ease in challenging times? Answering this kind of question is essential to being in the practice of the Feldenkrais Method. How does paying attention to the quality of how you move lead you to a more integrated way of living? When you are more functional in how you move, how does it improve the your ability to be attentive?
Our annual Awareness Though Movement “camp“ involves five days of lessons, three hours each day in the practice of the Feldenkrais Method. Awareness Through Movement lessons that are specific to your being embodied moment-by-moment each day. These lessons are offered with dialogue, group discussion, and humor, to provide you with the opportunity to connect with what is essentially you—as we delve into “What is the essence of the Feldenkrais Method?”
